So here's a little bit of what I've been working on lately. Sorry for the no updates. School has been ruling my life lately. Hopefully soon I will have an icon update. Be for warned this will be a big post to load. Here's a small preview:

First I want to start off telling you all about this wonderful new Harry Potter site that I help to mod. Its a really fun place to get together and discuss Harry Potter. There is also an interactive House Cup competition. If any of you are interested in the site just click on the thumbnail below. :D

Secondly I have actually been working on a new icon update. Its gonna be a little different because they are all on one canvas. Before I post I'll probably be pasting a few on new canvas for you to use. So be on the lookout for that.

Other than that I have been making graphics like crazy. I'm part of a graphics contest site that is tons of fun. So I will probably be posting some of my entries here as well.

Its been a month......

Wow, sorry guys that I haven't posted much on here. :/ From here on out I shouldn't be to busy and I should have a graphics post hopefully soon... It depends though. Well there is a reason that I haven't been on LJ much. And its all due to two Harry Potter sites. The first one: http://fortuna-major.net/ . I made most of the graphics on there. The default, Dueling Club, Hermione Granger, Slytheirn, Liquid Luck, Luna Lovegood, Ravenclaw, Ron/Hermione, Ron Weasley, Staff were all made by me. Along with the buttons. I also made most of the icons featured on the site.

As for the second site that has kept me busy: http://great-hall.com/index.php
Again, I made all the schemes EXCEPT: Hufflepuff, Classrooms, and Room of Requirement. All of the deafult schemes were made by me. And over 800 + icons were made by me. So I have been one busy little bee. If you are interested in joining http://great-hall.com/index.php, I would appreciate it if you referred Lily Evans (that's me LOL). I hope to see you guys there.

All my links are at the top of my LJ. So good chances that if I'm not posting here I'm busy at one of those links. I also have a graphics shop open on both sites. So that keeps me very busy too.

Again I'm sorry for being so MIA on here. But both these sites have taken a lot of my time.

A few new things. As you can see I have deleted my emma_zone community. I was upset to have to do it, but I just don't have the time to maintain it properly. I was at first going to change it to a graphics community only, but there already is an lj comm for that. In the future I might think about re-doing the whole thing, but as of right now I just don't have time. All it really was turning into was a recycling of other Emma sites.

As you can see I haven't really been making icons lately. That is because I've been busy making graphics for other things. Here are just a few graphics I've been working on:

This will be short and sweet. I'm a big fan of message boards in case you didn't know. Well today a friend of mine linked me to a very cool Harry Potter/Twilight board. Its called graceful-arc. small update on things..

hey everyone,

Well school is finally out for the summer. Woohoo!!!! And that means I can go back to spending my days making graphics. :p I've already started on a few things (and will probably have my first update of the summer by the middle of next week, maybe sooner). My new update will be pretty simple: keira knightley, true blood, harry potter, wallpapers and textures. I also wanted to point out that I added a new link to the top of my page. It is for my deviantart page. I put graphics up on there days before I post them on here. I also have some things that I don't/won't post on here. Right now I have two new wallpapers uploaded (they will be included in my new graphics update) so don't click if you don't want to be spoiled. Umm...what else did I want to add?? lol...oh I'm also going back to a paid account. I have everything all set up just have to send the money order in. So no more pesky ads. Oh and last but not least my request shop is open again. If anyone has a request for me just send me a message or post it as a comment I'll try to get it done as quick as possible. =]

Its really late and I couldn't seem to fall asleep. So I opened up photoshop and just started playing around with a few things. I seriously cannot wait till school is over and I can work on some proper stuff. I've missed photoshop so much. =]

The first thing I made was a fake website layout. And the second is an extremely simple Keira Knightley wallpaper from The Duchess.

This is a fake Keira Knightley Zone layout for a website that I made. I do not know how to code these things, but I've always wondered what it would be like to make one. So I just did this in photoshop. I have no clue how it would actually come out if it were to be coded. I wasn't going for a complete website look. More like a basic outline of what a Keira website would look like with just the basics. This is also the first time I've ever made something like this. I know it been awhile since a real icon//graphic post from me. Sorry about this. School has been taking up so much time. Good news is that after May 1st, I'll be back on here and back to my usual graphic making self. I'll also probably go back to a LJ paid account (I can't stand the advertisements :p) I didn't re-new because I knew I wasn't going to be using my LJ to much. Only 3 more papers and finals then I'm done for the semester. Woohoo!! I hope everyone's having fun and enjoying the Spring weather.

Top 5 Favorite Sites

Sorry for the absence of graphics posts lately. Its because of odious midterms. I have another one coming up on Tuesday too. But after that I should have a couple of new graphics posts. I'm itching to use some new picture's I've found on the internet.

Now on to the reason for this post. I thought it would be fun to get interactive with everyone, and have everyone share their five favorite internet sites (please only clean sites :p). If your like me, and addicted to the internet you have those certain sites that you must check daily and often. I know I have a routine when I first turn my computer on. I need to check my five favorite sites before I do anything else. Its just habit. And without further ado these are my personal five favorite sites:

1- LJ
How could this not be #1. :p I'm lumping these all together, just because that's how I am. But these are my favorite lj communities: my own journal, ohnotheydidnt, keira_zone, keira_daily. ONTD is my new addiction. I check this about a billion times a day. Its always the first on celebrity news.

2- Just Jared
This site is amazing. I've been addicted to it for months now. Its always so up to date on celebrity news. I also like how its not like a TMZ, or PerezHilton. If you know what I mean. He's just a blogger that posts news on celebrities. I just love it. And as you can probably see I'm addicted to celebrity gossip. :p

3- iheartkeira
I'm a staff member there, so I have to check it daily. But I also love it. Hey what can I say. I'm a huge Keira fan and proud of it. :p And just to clump other keira sites: I also check sweet-keira pretty often. But its not the first five I check.

4- The Fashion Spot
I'm not a member there. But I love fashion and I love to see what the stars are wearing. I also like to see the magazine covers and who's on what, ect..(they have a great magazine section). Umm..they also have a great Keira Knightley thread.

5- Lion and Lamb Love
This is my newest fandom addiction. So this will change and has changed in the past. But I'm addicted to Twilight right now. I love getting up to date on the movie news, ect...and L&L is great.

So that's it. I also check my school email, and regular email daily, hulu, emma-watson.net, HPB, and youtube, ect...But these are my actual websites that I love.

What are your top 5 websites? (you can cheat like I did and add a few here and there..lol)

hey everyone,

Well I was a busy little bee today. :p I made a few things that I put on my deviantart page. I usually update that at least once a week with some type of graphics. And just a little tip if you like my brushes, textures ect...I put them on my deviantart page usually weeks before I post them here. Well on to the graphics then....Liz I have a little present for you!! <33

hey everyone,

Wow sorry its been so long since I've posted something. I'm constantly making graphics, I just like to post everything at once instead of things here and there. So that's why you haven't had anything in awhile. I've been working on time consuming things (a twilight mood, wallpapers, textures, ect...). I'm about halfway through with the mood and I have one more batch of icons to make and then hopefully I will post it all. Right now I'm guessing I'll probably post sometime this coming week.

Firstly, I'm not sure how many of you know, but I created a lj community called keira_zone (its a keira knightley community). We are currently in the middle of header contest and I thought I would let you know in case any of you wanted to enter into it. The contest can be found here. The contest ends this Wednesday. I would love to see some of your artwork. =]

Second, a graphics update is coming very soon. Sorry its taking so long since the last time. I got sidetracked with iheartkeira. Its been a busy couple of days with Keira news and i had to stop what I was doing. =] I'm happy to announce I have a couple of new goodies I've never made before. So be on the lookout for that in the next couple of days. Most likely I'll post it all this weekend.

new layout

hey,

New Layout finally!!! Phew...glad that's done though. =] I can't believe how long that took me. But I think it was worth all the effort. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. What do you guys think? I have been meaning to put up a new layout on here for awhile. I just haven't had the time. I also re-did my profile page. I'm currently working on a layout for the Sweet Keira livejournal community. I hope to have that done in the next few days.

I have also been working on an icon update. I have quite a few made already. But I want to wait to post until I have a huge amount. :p So be on the lookout for that to come soon. I think I'll be able to post it in a couple of days.

As for me personally. I don't know if you remember me telling you about NJ Boxer rescue and how my family wants to adopt another dog. Well we are finally in the works. We have now become an approved family (let me tell you...its like adopting a baby all the steps you need to go through). And we have picked out the dog we hope to adopt. Many things can happen until then, but we are keeping out fingers crossed. This is the dog: Sallie <3. We have been talking with the person who is gonna be her foster mom. I can't wait to meet her. She should be in New Jersey on Sunday. Her story is a sad one, but we hope to give her a good home. Oh and she is 1 and a half- 2 years old not 5. I still can't believe how close she came to be put down.

Hey everyone,

Well Santa landed early at my house. Luckily enough we got to open all our presents tonight instead of tomorrow. We're actually so busy tomorrow that we won't be home much. So to really enjoy opening our presents we all decided to just open them tonight. Well let me just say that my parents are amazing. The got me so really great stuff. Just to name a few: The Wii, perfume, DVDa, a new coat, chocolates and tons more. I was so shocked every time I opened a new thing. I still can't wrap my brain around everything yet.

I personally really enjoy watching everyone else open presents though. My mom really loved everything. Its so great to see her smile so much. My dad seemed to really enjoy himself. I was really nervous for my brother. I didn't know what to get him at first. He gets himself whatever he really wants. So I decided to get him a tie. He doesn't really have a nice one, and he's into looking nice. So I said what the heck, he can use one. It was super expensive for a tie: $80. It was a DKNY tie. But he seemed really happy with it. I haven't opened his present for me yet. We're going over to his fiancee's parents house, to open all those type presents.

So I just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. And a Happy New Year. This year has treated me great, and I hope next year can be even better. =]
